BLUE LINERS AUSTRALIA NATIONAL MEMORIAL RIDE
Remembering members
March 13, 2020
There has been an increase in memorial rides within Blue Liners Australia to recognise and remember those who have ridden on ahead of us.
The National Executive and Executive have discussed these rides at length and the general consensus is that the Club has one National Memorial Ride to recognise all those who have left us.
To keep in line with the initial memorial ride, which is the Frank Egan Memorial Ride on the St. Patrick’s Day weekend? This ride was originally known as the St. Patricks Day ride to Grenfell. The National Memorial Ride will be held on this weekend each year. However the ride will not be going to Grenfell every year but every third year.
The National Memorial Ride will be on a three year rotation Grenfell, Location to be announced and location to be announced. Hope that makes sense and returning to Grenfell and then repeat the format.
This will allow for Members to at least attend one or more National Memorial Rides each rotation. Having said that for the next two years the National Memorial Ride will be on the:
PAST - 16/03/2019 at South West Rooks
14/03/2020 at Tumut
20/03/2021 at Grenfell
There are three categories for the National Memorial Ride:
1) Line Of Duty Members
Det Insp Bryson ANDERSON
Sen Const Dave Rixon
2) Ride Members
Frank EGAN, National Secretary
Andrew (Andy) Boyd #498
3) Members
These are in no particular order

Owen (OJ) JENNINGS #897

The above list is not complete as there maybe members that are not on the Memorial List. If you know of any members that do not appear please let me know.
I look to all Executive Members and Ride Co-Ordinator to facilitate the National Memorial Ride.
Regards
Harley Willox #428
